Namely, the love of Beauty"

What Am I Doing Living In The Woods?

Thoreau once wrote, "I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms, and, if it proved to be mean, why then to get the whole and genuine meanness of it, and publish its meanness to the world; or if it were sublime, to know it by experience, and be able to give a true account of it in my next excursion."
If you've ever read Walden, you know the close communion Thoreau enjoyed with Nature when he spent time living alone in the Woods.
"Dream Hustler" chronicles my own time in the Woods.
Simply put, I will now be living out-of-doors;
When I dine, it will be around an open fire.
When I sleep, it will be under the stars.
When I awake, it will be amid the shade of coniferous trees.
When I commune with another, it will be deer & fox.
When I learn, it will be the Wisdom of Nature.
There will be much solitude, but also the friendship & consolation of the Woods.
Join me as I use this time in the Woods to cultivate my inner self, & explore Thought & Nature.
